I poured a lot of love and energy into this image; not to mention sidestepped a lot of frustration in the process.
Beachhead and Cover Girl. Yup. I'm on board this ship with such intensity, I can't even...*exhale*

Beach has always looked past the model in her and seen the soldier. While Cover Girl can look past the soldier in him and see the man. <3

There's never been any cannon intimacy between these characters, but they do have frequent interactions and/or are often pictured next to one another when the two occupy the same frame. Hell, Beach even smoothly "defended her honor" against Mercer once and carried her when she was injured. Hell, I love it in the new current IDW series when he calls her "girl"; it just brings me such joy. X D
I follow the comic book iterations of the characters, not really the cartoons (though I enjoyed those). I feel like these two could actually cultivate a really deep partnership if the chance was ever given.
