On the morning of July 8th, 2011, thirty years and three months after our first flight, Mission STS-135 began, and Space Shuttle Atlantis launched successfully from Cape Canaveral, Florida USA, at 11:29 am.
Atlantis marks the end of an era - and the beginning of another. Her spectacular flight will close the book on America's historic Shuttle programme. Her crew of four will be the last NASA Astronauts to ascend to the heavens from US soil for the next several years as the Shuttle programme retires and the Human Space Flight programme goes on hiatus. Atlantis's flight is the last of 135 missions.

Hey! I didn't know you still came on here anymore! : D
Yeah, I left DeadResponse last May and by June 1st, I was living out in Vegas, working for MedicWest. It is fantastic to finally work for a 911 provider that maintains a real company, with working rigs, accredited to give CEs Refreshers and sponsorships, a legit station, its own on-site fleet garage, HR, management that are ALL in the field, just as often as the rest of us...I mean, I could go on. It's a great company and its fulfilling to finally do REAL EMS work.
Granted, I hate Vegas, haha. So I plan on getting in another year of experience here, then requesting a lateral transfer up to WA. C :

How are YOU doing, more importantly?? It's been forever and a day; what's new, Mr. Galimberti?

. I am glad to hear that you finally moved on. So great that things are much better! I cannot agree more working for AMR haha. 911. Organized. CEs. Better rigs. All of the above. Couldn't be happier... until I get hired with fire haha. LA City and Beverly Hills are in the line up right now. Hopefully something happens by the end of this year

How is everything else in your life? Adjusting to the Hot Vegas lifestyle? Can't wait to move up to gloomy overcast Seatle I bet haha.
