Now this boss I had a fun time with. He was a challenge, but not like Kraid or that leviathan boss in Meridia (forgot the name) where environmental hazards were a problem. I also thought the character design was really cool, all the spikes all over the back, the octopus like appearance, and the eye-ball inside the mouth...I just didn't expect it it be that...big. Could have done without all of those lost souls wandering his ghost ship too...they were a pain in the ass

Phantoon was the final boss general in the Wrecked Ship level in Super Metroid. He was a psychokinetic alien that acted much like a ghost, summoning those floating eyeballs, and fading in and out of reality while attacking. When you beat him you'll return power to the Wrecked Ship and be granted the Gravity Suit. : )

: ) Oh you will. I'm working on Spore Spawn now. After that I'll hit Botwoon and General Draygon. All that'll be left after those are Mother Brain, Ridley, and Torizo [who isn't really what I'd call a boss, or even a mini-boss, but...I'll do one for it anyways.] Super Metroid is, easily, my all-time favorite video game, so I love doing fan art for it. : 3

I was so sad, a few weeks ago I discovered that my SNES, aparently, no longer works. : ( It turns on, and will read the cartridges, but the picture is always hyper pixelated, or all visuals are just completely unrecognizable. I would actually pay somebody to fix it for me, [that's how much I love it X 3] but I really don't think anybody's in the business of doing that anymore, being that it's such an old system.
