[Edit: Oh, pardon my mistake! Lickers are actually catagorized as V-ACTs, not B.O.W.s. A B.O.W. is a creature that does not undergo secondhand infection and transformation, but is deliberately infected with a mutagenic viral agent, like the T-Virus or G-Virus, for the expressed purpose of being turned into a biological weapon. In this stage, Lickers are actually Crimson Heads in advanced mutation. There's another stage before this form called Regis Lickers, which are still much more human in appearance, suspend themselves from ceilings by only their feet, and tend to use their long tongues to strangle their prey to death.]
