DnD C-Sheet: Asclepius

Character reference sheet for my Warforged War Medic*, Asclepius.

Asclepius was forged by House Cannith in Sharn, midway through the Last War. He was a special purpose model, considered a weak-make, and hence only forged a single time.
He is much smaller and lighter than the average Warforged and presents with many obvious physiological differences; booted feet, larger optics, and hands baring four digits and a thumb.

Asclepius proved a poor fighter, an inept magic user, and a laughable athlete. For desperation of any function, the House began training him in the art of non-magical healing. His keener optics and more delicate, dexterous, hands made him an ideal candidate for executing precision surgical procedures; His ease of focus and apparent lack of mortal fear, made him practical for use in the battlefield. He would receive many mechanical alterations to his body over this period to better facilitate his possition.

Now, after the close of the war, and the Treaty of Thronhold having granted him freedom as a sentient being, Asclepius wanders seemingly without destination, to continue his work - learning endlessly to treat any and all who may come under his knife.

Asclepius, while well-intentioned, is aggressively tempered. He seemingly has no patience to handle social situations and prefers to stay out of them. He has accumulated very few friends throughout his lifetime, and would protect them fiercely. His surface agitation is usually apparent in his propensity to be verbally short and abrasive with others.
As a Warforged, he does not sleep. So to ward off insanity, he studies his trade or reads human literature (generally romance novels, as the subject of human love remains one of the aspects of their species he still can't diagnose). He also keeps a journal as a means of sharing his thoughts, without sharing his time with others.

Asclepius presents with many mental qualities not common to Warforged as well; such as a lack of desire to follow orders, removal of aspiration to fit in among others, and rare moments of forgetfulness - Warforged' memories are naturally eidetic, allowing them to account for every minute of their lives from the moment they were forged.

Asclepius has since found residence, as Physician, on the airship Argo among a rattle-trap group of adventurers. He can not much relate to any of his compatriots, but after serving several campaigns with them, has come to identify them as his friends, and possibly, the closest thing to a family he has ever had. Over the course of these death defying adventures, he has come into charge of a small dog named Scruffles and a tiny, basely intelligent, gelatinous cube which he has named Caduceus.

While he has set up a generously sized, stocked, O.R. and personal chamber on the Argo, he, and his new-found compatriots, still wander the world in search of greater understanding, experience, and adventure.
